Rigveda 1.164.39:ओंकारे परमे योगी सदाशिवोऽवतारितः।तस्य द्वादशतं नाम नामानि प्रकीर्तितानि॥

Transliteration: Omkāre parame yogī sadāśivo'vatāritaḥ। Tasya dvādaśataṁ nāma nāmāni prakīrtitāni॥ Translation: The supreme yogi is attained through Aum/Om.


  1. Yajurveda 1.1: ॐ अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवं रत्वीजम्।

Transliteration: Om agnimīḷe purohitaṁ yajñasya devaṁ ṛtvījam। Translation: I adore the divine priest of the sacrifice, Agni, who is the purifier and the well-wisher of the ritual.


  1. Atharvaveda 19.6.4: ओं अहमादित्यानां विश्वरूपं सूर्यं तदेषा।

Transliteration: Om ahamādityānāṁ viśvarūpaṁ sūryaṁ tadeṣā। Translation: I am that Aditya (Sun), the radiant form of the universe.
